Limitation: Emerging occupations were identified using data driven approach with a number of criteria such as the online jobs advertisement volume over the past 5 years, the substantial difference compared to the existing ANZSCO occupations. Therefore, it does not capture all new and emerging roles in the jobs market such as Cybersecurity Analyst, Scrum Master, Customer Success Manager, Blockchain Developer because they can be viewed as alternative tiles or specialisations of occupations like ICT Security Expert, ICT Project Manager, ICT Account Manager or Software Engineer.
